Autumn Knits & Outerwear

We’re officially a month away from autumn. Each year summer feels never-ending and then one day we awake to find the humidity that plagued our late mornings to evenings replaced with a crisp breeze and the sudden desire to nestle in a warm bed with a cup of ginger tea [check my recipe here]. So in great anticipation for my favorite season, I’ve gathered some classic pieces that could carry anyone fashionably through those wonderfully chilly days. What’s your favorite fall knit or outerwear? Leave a comment and let me know below! ☺️

Cable Knit & Fair Isle

The cable knit sweater is timeless and fairs well for cozy nights around the fire pit and strolls through the neighborhood with cups of piping hot cider, spiced chai, or tahini hot chocolate.

Barn Coat & Utility Jacket

A stylish piece for farm visits, apple picking, or a trip to the pumpkin patch. Don’t forget to pair it with your favorite wellies or duck boots!

Fleece

The perfect outer layer for leaf peeping and scenic drives. Or maybe an impromptu trip for fresh pie to share in the park.

Note: True Grit & KJP fleece are unisex so size down or consult the size chart for proper fitting.

Rainy Weather

For those misty mornings when the grass and freshly fallen leaves are covered in dew and a gentle fog floats along the pavement. They’d also come in handy for those spooky, stormy October nights.

Cardigan

Great for cuddles around the fireplace and curling up on the couch with a Harry Potter book or rewatching Gilmore Girls (just the first season though).
